It probably wouldn't take more than 30-40 minutes to re-create them. Neither of these keyboards is expensive, but at 599, the Studio 900 is the bargain, while the 849 Studio 1100, with all its facilities, is competitively priced.

However a complete description of these factory presets is found in the first pages of the Studio 2001 owner's manual which can be downloaded from the Studiologic website. Fatar are continuing with their mission to provide a range of keyboards to suit every requirement and pocket. If you are referring to the original 8 presets that were loaded into the 2001 from the factory, sorry but I don't have them. Remove the mainboard and take it to a Batteries Plus and they should be able to replace the cell for you.Īs for you question, it is pretty unlikely that a sysex file from someone else's Studio 2001 is going to have anything to do with the modules or other MIDI gear that you have. If you are handy with a screwdriver, take the lid (front panel) off and you will see the main PCB right in the middle of the case and you will see a lithium cell (silver and about the size of a quarter) soldered onto the mainboard. This is probably why the memory was cleared in the first place.

Before going to the trouble of trying to replace or create presets at this point it would be very smart to have the internal lithium cell replaced. Sorry to hear your 2001 lost its presets.
